How to Find the Printer's IP Address in Windows?

  • Go to 'Control panel' > Hardware & Sound > Devices and Printers.
  • In that window, you'll find all the printers available on your network. Now, simply right-click on any printer you want and select 'Printer properties' from the popped up menu.

  • Now go to 'General' tab in the properties window and in the Location box, you'll find your Printer's IP address.
P.S: In some cases, the Location box would be empty. Then, you can click on the 'Ports' tab in the properties window > highlight/select the port that is not checked > click the 'Configure port' button and on the next screen, you'll see the IP address of your printer in the text box titled 'Printer Name or IP Address'.
